So excited for this weekend!

This weekend I have the priviledge of baptizing my daughter Ashlyn! She is such a great blessing to our family. I really can't believe that she is 8 years old. That means I now have two children over the age of 8 and 5 children overall. Such a crazy thing. It feels like only a second ago I was on a mission in Japan and telling people about how awesome it will be to have my own family, and now I'm baptizing my second oldest child. So here are my thoughts about Ashlyn. She can be so sensitive and helpful and yet has this other side that reminds me of when she told me I was "ruining her life" for asking her to clean her room. She gives the greatest hugs and is so good with the other girls. I'm very worried about the future and guys being interested in her...I guess I don't really have to worry about that for a while (thankfully). I am very privledged to have the opportunity to exercise the priesthood and act in the name of Jesus Christ. I always look forward to them, but this one will be even more special!
